Adorable place to stay with a bed and breakfast feel to it. I think there are only about 10 rooms, so you'll get to know everyone while you're there. The rooms are large and clean, although the bed was a little firm for our taste. Fransico and crew ensure the grounds are beautiful, with plants and flowers everywhere. The many bird feeders attract beautiful Hummingbirds, Bananaquits, and Orioles. It's fun to lay in the hammock and watch the hummingbirds chase each other through the trees. Tasty but simple breakfast with delicious fruit, fresh homemade bread and yogurt. We bought some eggs at the store and they were happy to hard boil them for us. For a minimal cost, they even stocked our fridge with beer before we arrived. Thanks Efrain! If you're a diver, you just walk across the street to your locker, get your gear, jump on the the boat and go. It couldn't be quicker or easier. We loved staying here and will certainly be back. The Village Tan Kah and Roberta’s Scuba Shack gave us a diving experience worth remembering! The room we’ve stayed at was large and clean with plenty of filtered water, coffee, refrigerator, and microwave. Also, Roberta had our fridge filled with beer to boot! Every day we were in Cozumel, we would wake up, eat their provided light breakfast of fresh homemade bread, fruits, juice, and yogurt before setting off on a boat dive across the street at Roberta’s Scuba Shack. Elpi and Adrian along with the boat captains were accommodating and helped us as newer divers with exploring the wonderful reef and various sites. Originally we planned 3 2-cylinder dive boat trips, but last minute, Roberta and Daniel were able to get us squeezed into another boat trip which was absolutely awesome. The staff also treated us as family and even cleaning staff secured loose valuables left out in the open into the safe for us during one of our dives. I absolutely adore this place and I’m planning another trip for the near future.
Super quiet resort across from the dive shop. They had a nice a simple continental breakfast which is great right before going diving. The rooms were clean and well kept. The ride from the air port was quick. This was my wife and I’s first trip to Mexico and it went very well. We would happily stay here again
We loved staying here and diving with Roberta’s! The grounds are beautiful with many exotic plants and fruit trees. Very serene. The continental breakfast and coffee was very convenient before the dive trips. Everything was very clean. The staff is attentive and friendly. Lots of hooks and places to hang wet stuff to dry inside and out. Dive shop is excellent and they have a great setup to rinse and store your gear with lockers. Highly recommend!
Village Tan Kah was perfect for our stay in Cozumel. Across the road from the scuba shack makes it so easy to ease into the day even with an early dive. Staff and guests were super friendly to interact with. Affordable, clean, and comfortable. Thank you!
Everything was perfect here! I loved my room (the coconut room) and it was extremely clean. Housekeeping does a wonderful job, and I loved how everyday they would fold a towel on my bed to look like a sea animal. The gardens are gorgeous and there is wildlife everywhere! Roberta is a fantastic host, and is super friendly. She is always present and makes an effort to know her customers. It’s a wonderful dive resort, and the only one in Cozumel I will stay at. Thank you Roberta and staff! You guys are awesome!
Stayed here for a week and a half with my friend and we loved it. The rooms are big and offer all the usual hotel amenities except television. They are also air conditioned and have a water-cooler with filtered water so you don't have to go out and buy any. There is a good size pool that is perfect for getting the salt off after dives and just relaxing. The grounds are kept very tidy and rooms are cleaned daily. The breakfast offered in the morning is enough to get you going but don't expect to be stuffed. Overall this is a perfect place to stay if you are diving with any of the local shops(especially Roberta's) and will be our choice pace next time we are down in Cozumel!
The staff and rooms are lovely, its so nice to be able to walk to the room and back from the dive shop. The pool is so refreshing after 3 hours of diving
